1. Who is this course for?
This course is designed for law students (UG & PG), graduates, young lawyers, in-house counsel, and professionals in banking, real estate, infrastructure and compliance, as well as anyone interested in arbitration law, drafting and AI in dispute resolution. No prior arbitration background is required.
2. How many sessions are there and when?
The course runs across 8 live sessions over weekends, from 22 August to 5 September 2026.
3. What is the mode of delivery?
All sessions are conducted online via Zoom, in live interactive classes, with the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers.
4. Will I get access to recordings?
Participants on the Advanced Plan receive lifetime access to recordings of all sessions.
5. Is the internship and empanelment opportunity guaranteed?
No. The internship with Polaris Legal and the empanelment with RDRC are not guaranteed. Both opportunities are open to all participants who complete the course, but final selection and shortlisting rest solely with the partnering organisations.
6. What will I learn about AI in this course?
Two dedicated modules cover AI in arbitration practice, spanning research, drafting, contract and document review, and building an AI-assisted workflow with tools like Claude and NotebookLM, with a focus on accuracy and responsible use. AI is also referenced across other modules.
7. Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. All participants who successfully complete the course receive an Advanced Certificate in Arbitration Law, Drafting, International Practice & AI from IALA.
8. Do I need prior arbitration experience?
No. Concepts are built from the foundations up, so the course suits both newcomers and those with some exposure.
9. What free resources are included?
Every participant receives a resource bundle: an Arbitration Quick Reference Guide, Drafting Templates, an AI Prompt Handbook, a Career & Internship Handbook, a Landmark & Recent Judgments Casebook, and a Mock Arbitration Practice Workbook.
10. Does this course guarantee a job or placement?
No. This course does not guarantee job placement. However, it is curated so that, if fully utilised, along with its practical resources, internship and empanelment pathways, it can meaningfully strengthen your profile and improve your chances of getting placed.
11. What is the fee, and what is the difference between the plans?
The Basic Plan is ₹2,499 and includes the Advanced Certificate from IALA and live Q&A with experts. The Advanced Plan is ₹3,499 and includes everything: lifetime access to all recordings, curated study material, the full arbitration resource bundle (Quick Reference Guide, Drafting Templates, AI Prompt Handbook, Career & Internship Handbook, Judgments Casebook and Practice Workbook), the certificate and live Q&A.
12. Will I get a certificate if I miss a live session?
Yes. Recordings (on the Advanced Plan) let you catch up, and the certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course.
